British Summer Time Hyde Park

sevens7 were engaged by AEG/Loudsound to provide Tim Spears as Infrastructure Manager with a specific remit for managing the design and build of the hospitality area and pavilion alongside planning the infrastructure for public and staff sanitation.

This event was a Hyde Park first for supplying solely flushing toilets to the public, and we had no queues for the loos, even during the Rolling Stones!
Tim was also the Site Manager with responsibility for the Load Out from the venue.

Stepladder were engaged by AEG/Loudsound to provide VIP Liaison for Hospitality, Production Assistants and Accreditation Assistants.

A team of 12 young people provided VIP services to the Hyde Park British Summertime concert. Looking after high profile VIP guests, roles in Hospitality included Box Office Assistants, Pavilion Hosts, VIP Box Hosts and Cloakroom Assistants. A team of 6 Production Assistants provided Production Assistance at the concerts and a team of 6 providing Accreditation support in the main Accreditation Office for staff and suppliers.

The teams were put together by Project Manager, Lucy Watson with the aim of giving youngsters quality, festival based, work experience. The concert series which ran for two weeks featured headline performances from The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Lionel Ritchie, Jennifer Lopez, Ray Davies and JLS and saw guests including Boris Johnson.
