The Village provides socially sustainable and environmentally friendly temporary infrastructure and accommodation available to international festivals, large scale public and private events.
The live event and festival community has been looking for positive solutions to the growing sustainability issues it now presides over. In response a syndicate of live event and festival pioneers has formed an alliance to develop a solution maintaining a focus on providing your customers with an affordable and unique experience.
The Village is wholly developed, managed and run by 16-24 year olds mentored by industry professionals. It allows for the development of core skills and social awareness at a younger age coupled with a clear mission to create a temporary environment with the smallest possible ecological footprint.
We provide accommodation, hot showers, serviced toilets, a launderette, 24hr security, lockers, phone recharge, power for vehicle pitches, a local pub, cafe, village shop, WiFi, a post office and programmed entertainment.
The Village works with your local community and businesses for support staff and services, creates detailed sustainability plans and a youth driven local development forum to research how best The Village can integrate with your local community when it returns.

The Local is a traditional pub brand for all the family providing immaculate real ale, award winning food, community entertainment and the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of a traditional inn.
