Dan trained in theatre design and technology and has been producing events for over 14 years. Between 1997 and 2005 he worked with Jack Morton Worldwide, KLP Entertainment and Iris Experience on corporate communications, brand entertainment and awards ceremonies before supplying freelance production services to MTV.

In 2005 he founded sevens7 to specialize in live services and human resource built around a network of experienced and creative event professionals, producing shows across the globe for some of the world’s leading promoters, brands, agencies, local authorities and charities. More recently he has focused on developing new services and in house projects that focus on delivering positive sustainability solutions. As a result sevens7 has added new areas of expertise and understanding providing customers with a more complete live offering including temporary infrastructure operations, event IT, Applications and recruitment.

In 2010 after 2 years of development working in schools and charities he launched Stepladder Worldwide as an opportunity for entry-level staff to develop core skills, produce their own projects and promote employment and training opportunities to other young people looking for access to the Creative Industries. He provides CV and careers advice and acts as an Apprenticeship agent connecting employers with candidates and training providers.

His client and credit highlights include Paul McCartney at Battersea Power Station, MTV, Glastonbury Festivals, MCD, the NME, Muzik Magazine and UK Festival Awards, the European Motor Show, Amnesty International, the world’s biggest team photo with Chelsea AFC, the RED Cinema launch for Manchester United and the A1 GP Opening Ceremony.

In 2010 Stepladder Worldwide has created over 200 employment opportunities with the iTunes Festival, EMI, the Ministry of Sound, Elastic Productions, Brand Culture, the Association of Independent Festivals and many more, has been nominated for the Event Innovation of the Year Award at the Event Production Awards 2012, and is developing a bespoke Apprenticeship with DV8 Training and Kids Company for vulnerable disadvantaged young people looking to access the Creative Industries.

Dan focuses primarily on Business Development looking for and creating new live services, new business, in house projects and employment opportunities.
